So my hubby and I were given an option for him to take a position at Lackland, to be a TI. We are stationed in Germany right now, at Ramstein. We have only been here since August 08, and love it. I do miss the states though. But I would like to find out more about this area, and the position. I hear they are in dior need of TI'S. No one likes it, long hours, and marriages end up in Turmoil. Im not worried about that. But thats all I hear...lol. Also how is the housing, and the school area. I have been to Lackland years ago watching my hubby graduate, and now, we might be coming back. I love Texas, there is lots to do. But Germany has so much more, and I dont want to leave. My hubby has the oppurtunity to turn it down, if he wants and finish our tour here. So please help me out and give me some info. I would like to get some adivce on people who already live and experience the area. Thanks again Lauren H
